The First Time

The First Time

Warning: It’s all about me and that person

After eating my lunch and spending some time doing my revision, it rained. The smell of the rain reminded me of how we first met. I was on my way back from university that day and have just arrived at the LRT station. It was drizzling. Feeling a bit bored, I took out my phone and went to facebook zero. The first thing that caught my mind was a facebook msg from some random unknown with a really unique name. It is facebook zero so I couldn’t see your face but what I thought was that you were really polite and seems fun to talk to. Being really interested in you, the first thing I did when I reached home was to check how you look like and who you really are. Apparently, you do look kinda cute haha but unfortunately I was attached. No harms making more friends though. From that day on, we started chatting on msn every day, talking about random stuffs and about ourselves.

Those days were really memorable. The time we’ve spent together on msn before we actually met up was as precious as diamond. No words could describe how contented I was just by talking to you. I still remember you wanted to kidnap me and you openly asked for my handphone number. I willingly gave it to you though haha =)

On our very first date we were suppose to have buffet in an awesome restaurant but apparently the shop ‘zap lap-ed’ lols! And we actually went all the way to puchong just to eat in that place. In the end we ate noodles in some random restaurant but it was still awesome =) I still remember offering you my food. The look on your face was really priceless xD

After eating we went and kia kia around my housing area and ended up chatting in the park outside my house. We talked about so many things and do you still remember how I got freaked out by the bug? Haha. It was really fun talking to you. We click so well. The date ended with us hugging, me putting my head on your shoulder and you ‘forcefully’ kissing me. Thinking back really makes me happy. We’ve spent such a great deal of precious time together. I doubt there’s anyone in this world that is capable of giving me the same feeling anymore.

I know I’ve been writing a lot about you lately but I just couldn’t help it when you are so addictive and enthralling. I promise that I’ll always be there for you no matter what and I want you to know that our meeting is fated! Being together is our destiny. Everyone that’s reading my blog (which I know is extremely minimal), please be my witness.

That’d be all about you for now. A hundred posts wouldn’t even be enough for me to write if I go on and on about you. I wouldn’t want to scare people away =)

It’s been awhile

I’ve not blogged for a very long time and somehow my writing in English has deteriorated. Do pardon me if I have mistakes and silly errors. It’s been awhile.. School has started and lots of stuff had been happening in my life. I really wanted to write them all down but I just don’t have the time and privilege to do so. I’ll probably write on how I came here, how was the condition here and on my house/room. For now, I’m doing fine. I’m eating fine and am surviving pretty well, staying with my classmates. They may not be the best housemates in the world, but they are stay-able with at least. A lot has happened. A lot, seriously. The same thing kept on repeating itself. Shall I talk about it? Or should I not? Maybe I should, it is my blog after all.

Let’s talk about something else.

LOVE

What exactly is love? Some may say it is the unselfish act of giving someone you love everything and hoping for that person to be happy. Some may argue that love is a mutual affection between individuals. There are many kinds of love but do take note that I am strictly referring to the guy-girl/guy-guy/girl-girl love here. Let’s start with some background story before going into the main topic.

Case 1: It happened about… 3 years ago. My friend has a girlfriend (and is still now). He’s a very nice person and he can do a lot for his girlfriend from doing crazy stuffs for her to buying her crazy stuffs. He even fought with his parents just for that girl. Well, it is not as if money is everything in a relationship and it shouldn’t be weighted on how expensive the presents are but he did fight with his parents for that girl. And he was only 17?! I used to think that he was really stupid and dumb. Why do so much for a girl? Why sacrifice so many things for someone you just met for a few months? Why are you soiling your relationship with your parents just for someone you met few months ago? It’s seriously stupid, and I kinda lost my respect to him after knowing this. But, that was because I do not really understand what LOVE is (not that I really understand it now). Now that I think about it, it is still quite silly but love is definitely blind. You do shits for the person you really love and care for.

Case 2: Another story on how love can change a person. During my pre-university program, I had this really awesome chemistry teacher. She’s young, pretty, kind and extremely intelligent. One day during tutorial, I decided to talk to her because I was really bored and she seemed to be bored as well. I asked her where did she graduate from and she told me she was from NUS. She also worked there for a year in a college teaching the biotechnology program. The conversation is as follows (to the best of my memory):

Me : You worked in Singapore for a year? Why are you here now in taylors teaching chemistry?

Teacher : Well, I did it for a man.

Me : Wow really? How come? Isn’t the salary in SG much higher than the salary in Malaysia?

Teacher : Of course. The salary is so much higher. But I think that my husband is more important and money isn’t really everything.

Me : I see. Your husband must be really lucky. So, why are you able to teach in taylors without a masters degree? All the other lecturers have a masters degree.

Teacher : Well, I actually had full scholarship to do PhD in NUS but I rejected it. I won’t have time for my husband and my family if I were to take a post-grad program. I guess taylors is still keeping me because of my first class honors but they are still pestering me to take masters. I won’t though even if it means losing my job because I think my husband and baby are more important.

Me : Wow okay.. (WTF you serious? Throwing away a good future in NUS and afull scholarship to do PhD for a guy… that is NOT handsome? (in my opinion)).

Honestly that was what I was thinking after the conversation. How can she give up such awesome offers for a guy? Is she kidding me? She is so young and pretty. I’m sure she’ll find a more handsome guy?

Case 3: “Love is very mysterious. You never know that such a person existed until you meet them. You fall deeper in love with him, but with just the smallest of words from him, you can be sad or happy. Just thinking about him makes your heart ache. Why..? Why? Why do we fall in love?” Ever heard of this quote? Sounds familiar? It is actually from episode 13 of Mai-Otome. Akane-chan is willing to give up on her dreams that she had worked so hard on since she was born. In fact, her dream itself defines her existence. But for a guy she loved so much, she is willing to give up everything including her life for him as depicted in the scene where she shielded him from that “slave”. In the end, the guy (a royalty) gave up his country and his family just to be with her. Wow.. I was really moved after watching this episode and couldn’t help it but writeit here. “Give up the dreams and live for love. That’s a path one can take as well” – Major Sergay Wang

But now that I am kinda in their shoes, I totally understand how they feel. Money and an awesome career isn’t actually the most important thing in life. It is the people around you that matters. I wouldn’t say money isn’t one of the most important thing in the world (in fact I think money is super ultra important) but I have to admit that the person that you care and love most is the most important thing. Money and career, it really doesn’t matter too much anymore if it is to be able to be with the person you love. I’m probably saying this because I may not be the very dominant one but still, it takes a lot to make me do so much or give up so much for a single person.

Many may say, ‘Loving someone doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be with that person, you should be happy as long as the person you love is happy’. In a way, it sounds really romantic. But the fact is you won’t be able to do that unless if you are a saint. You won’t be happy if the person you really love is with someone else. Yes you may be happy for that person, but it is really harsh on yourself.

What I can say is that I am terribly sorry for not being able to be with you when you need me most. LDRs are always tough and it’s not something that survives easily from what I can see from history. But I believe, if two people are really in love, something like distance wouldn’t be able to tear them apart. I love you hunny and I will do everything to the best of my abilities to be with you. The definition of love in me now, is you and me.

Animal Ethics

I just had a discussion with someone regarding ethical issues on animal consumption. Perhaps that person might be cursing and writing something atrocious about me on his blog right now but we shall put that aside. There is something more pressing that I have to explain and write out. Do note that the content might be a little too extreme for extremeenvironmentalist and people that cannot think logically or accept a different idea (In short stubborn people). If you seriously seriously die die cannot accept dog and cat consumption or even bear to read about it, I suggest you don’t read on. It’ll just make me your enemy.

So yes, rather than an argument it is more like a polite debate. Yes, very polite with occasional F words in it. At least, I was polite. So there’s this person talking about how it is bad stuff to eat shark fin soup as they are already endangered. I have to completely agree with him regarding this matter as it is a very serious issue. People are catching sharks just for their fins. After removing their fins from the chondrichthyes they are tossed back into sea, unable to swim and hunt for food. That is worst THAN murder. How could they torture such poor animals? Other animals such as sea cucumber and sea urchins should also be consumed less. You might not know the significance of these animals but they are really important in the aquatic ecosystem. Let me give you a brief explanation.

The next paragraph is mumbo-jumbo. Read only if it really piques your interest.

Sea urchins are grazers that reduce the amount of algae on coral reefs. As some of you might already know, coral reefs are extremely important in the aquatic ecosystem as they provide extensive services to algae, protists and other fishes. Algae (to be more precise it is protist but for the convenience of non-science people I shall call it algae) such as Zooxanthellae provides food and growth assistance to corals in return for waste substances that are beneficial to the algae such as sulphur and nitrogen in this symbiotic relationship. Grazers such as sea urchins reduce the amount of zooxanthellae on the surface of the coral by eating them to ensure that the coral is not overtaken by these algae. Imagine if all the sea urchins are dead. Zooxanthellae will take over the coral population and this irreversible condition is termed as the ‘algae shift’. Corals will be destroyed and fishes would not be able breed. Sea cucumbers on the other hand are bioturbators. They soften the soil, aerate the soil and disperse nutrients. (I would seriously love to talk about how the fish industry is going to collapse and about the Allee effect but it is too mumbo-jumbo so just google it if you are interested). For this I have to agree with that person but the main point isn’t on sharks and echinoderms now.

And that person got so pissed and mad because he cannot accept. Why laaaa? Different people got different opinion ma. Don’t need to attack me first. Anyway let’s focus on the issue.

Culture and Tradition

What makes it wrong to eat cats and dogs but it is perfectly fine to eat chicken, cows and goats. Indeed many people would say that it is inhumane to eat dogs and cats due to the fact that they are human’s best friends or pets. But to say that, it is an obvious display of speciesm (Macam racism la). In our culture, it is true that we have emotional attachments to them as pets, friends or even family. However, what about other cultures and traditions? Does it not apply on dogs and cats? Just because the majority of human beings find dogs and cats more lovable than chickens and cows does not mean that it is inhumane to eat them.

What’s happening in the world now is that humans are making a whole lot of fuss on dogs and cats consumption BECAUSE they are pets and they are cute! However, chickens and cows are ALSO pets and they could be close to humans or even closer than a dog or a cat. It is very subjective. Just because most people find dogs and cats more appealing they are making a move to STOP their consumption. Okay. Sure. What the fuck?! Are you FUCKING ME?! I apologize for the vulgarity but, what kind of reasoning is that? So let’s say I have chickens as pets. I find them extremely cute and warm, enough to make me jizz. Can I form a group with chicken lovers and make a move to STOP people from eating chicken? No, am I right? Let’s talk about Hindus. Their cows are sacred. They are like their Gods. And, we are eating them like nobody’s business. Burger lembu, steak, curry beef and whatever you can think off. Is it okay for them to STOP us from eating beef? Well, perhaps dogs and cats are our friends, but cows are the Hindu’s Fluxxing GOD! You are eating their GOD! Are they making a big fuss??! Are you willing to stop eating? Seriously, you people (including me) couldn’t care less and eat them regardless. Are we inhumane then? We are eating Gods. And you people are making such a fuss when people are eating dogs? ROFLMFAO!

Firstly, just ask yourself this question. What makes it okay to eat cows, chickens and fish, but not dogs and cats? Yes dogs and cats are pets, but cows can’t be pets? Fishes are pets too. Many of my friends have fishes at home. So cannot eat fish edi izzits? Don’t give me the excuse that dogs are cute, friendly and nice unlike cows and fishes that are fated to be slaughtered and eaten. If you think that way, you just pawned yourself. You are basically classifying animals and that is unethical. This, we shall talk in the next section. And before I move on to the next section, if you respect other people’s culture, stop condemning dog consumption unless if it is a valid issue. I do respect your opinion and your reluctancy to eat dogs and cats because I am the same. I find dogs too cute for ME to eat.

Animal Hierarchy

Look, in terms of biology AND ethics, there is no such thing as higher animals or lower animals. There isn’t any hierarchy for living things. Do refer to the slide above (Taken from BIOL1030 Lecture Notes on Biodiversity and the Environment). So how can any of you say that a human is more superior as compared to a rat? Dogs and cats are much more superior when compared to chickens? No no no. Every single living thing on earth is undergoing evolution, although slow. It is not as if the bacteria are undergoing evolution while the monkeys and the rest are in a static mode. Wrong! It is a misconception! Although it is not very visible, every single living thing is! It is called co-evolution! It is an undeniable fact that humans are more complex than a bacterium, a little worm and a bird. However, it is not right to say that we are of higher level or class. There’s many thing an archaea and a bacterium can do that we cannot. Can we live in sulphur lakes? Can we swim like fishes? Can we become dormant and live on for 100000 years like a bacterium? No, we cannot. Every single organism has their own living strategies. We might be smarter than other animals, and dogs and cats COULD be more intelligent than chickens. But that does not determine what animals can be eaten or what can’t right? If food is based on intelligence, many of the dumbfucks in the world would have been eaten by me already!

We can definitely and absolutely classify animals into their respective phylum, class family and order. BUT, they are still living things, and THAT, is a fact. Unless if eating dogs cause diseases, then it is absolutely fine to do something. Some does, and will be discussed in the next section. If you find eating dogs so disgusting and cruel and evil, don’t eat then. I don’t feel comfortable and will never eat them as well, but I do not agree on what you people are saying.

Diseases and Harm to the Environment

Yes and true. There are reports claiming that eating dogs and cats will spread some kind of weird and random diseases. If animal lovers are using this as an excuse to stop dogs and cats consumption, then I have nothing to say but to AGREE completely. If they are causing harm, of course something must be done. But what if they are not? They will be just like chickens and cows then. Food. If you have the heart to eat a once alive animal, please don’t condemn eating dogs and cats unless if they spread disease. Let’s talk about endangered species then. Yes, some animals are facing extinction and of course it will be disastrous to the ecosystem. For an ecosystem to be stable, biodiversity is a must. Again, it is very technical so I will not elaborate @@ So, are dogs and cats going to be extinct? Nope, far from that. Way too far. “Cats and Dogs, are nowhere in the forseeable future threatened by extinction, so what makes them so different from all the other animals we farm, breed, slaughter every day in the hundreds of thousands for food? “ (Wong 2011). So then. Seriously. If you really love animals, don’t eat them. Simple. I’m just flummoxed and baffled by you people’s(Not saying you la har) hypocrisy. Preposterous!

Me: Of course. This April going to graduate d. Then going to work. Work as engineer sia.

Me: Ya. K is also a very very nice person lo. Treats me really well.

3 Days of Hell

Day 1

The first day I went to the hospital, it was really boring and empty. The whole entire building was empty and scary. Even in my room, I was the only patient. It’s a double bed room. I did basically nothing on the first day, except for eating supper and hugging and chatting with my hunny in my room.

Day 2

I was supposed to fast from 7.30 am to 2 pm because I need to undergo an operation. I did of course, and it wasn’t easy. The nurse woke me up at 6.30 am just to feed me with a heavy breakfast. It was a once in a lifetime experience. I went into the operation room and got knocked out by the anesthetics. It was, quite fun getting knocked out.. LOL. The next thing I knew when the nurse woke me up was that I am already on the movable bed. Apparently, they stuffed tubes into.. weird places in my body. I shall not elaborate. The whole night was really really painful. I couldn’t sleep because the tube was hurting me. Furthermore, that fucking Indian boy beside me snored like a dinosaur for the entire day. 1 hour felt like 3 hours. Time passed so slowly. I was in fucking hell. Thankfully, my hunny came to see me. I was really in a shitty condition. I couldn’t move, couldn’t really speak clearly as well. It was my hunny that kept me going for the rest of the day. Without my hunny, I would have fuckin’ killed that piece of shit. Or maybe not.. But I’ll go nuts and start banging my head on the wall, or rather, bang HIS head on the wall.

Day 3

Day 3! Finally, time to be discharged. That’s what I thought. Apparently, my condition is worst than it seems. The doctor told me to stay for another day because my condition was crappy. I was so down and so depressed, filled with anguish and agony that I couldn’t even do anything but cry and stone on my bed. That’s when I called my hunny, to inform that I may not leave the hospital tonight. I just couldn’t stop crying. Finally, the tubes were removed. I can finally walk again, but it hurts a little. I thought I had totally forgotten how to walk since I’ve been bedridden since like, forever. Thankfully after lunch, my hunny came to visit again. I was so touched and happy that my hunny was there for me. It was you that kept me going. It was you that told me not to give up and pray for the best. It was you, that encouraged me and assured me how much you love me, no matter what happens. Thanks dear. I really love you so much. You were there for me when I was feeling really down. You are truly, amazing and awesome. Someone that I can throw my life away for. Right now, I’m currently at home typing this because I was given a leave. I am not officially discharged, I’m just having a holiday for a few hours. Hopefully the histology report tomorrow would be fine. I really don’t want to be in deep shit. I still want to spend the rest of my life with you hunny. Really. That is all for today. Exam results are going to be released in a couple of hours.Will post on them later if I feel like it.

Simple Introduction

Eugenics, commonly known as the practice of removing undesired alleles from the human population is something that gives rise to ethical issues. This idea of perfecting the gene pool of humans was widely popular in the early 20th century, but was rejected and disfavoured after being abused by the Nazi. What the Nazi did was dreadful. Experimental studies on humans were conducted, harsh and forced racial hygiene were reinforced as well as extermination of a population of humans with undesired alleles. In simple terms, reproduction of a group of people with advantageous alleles is strongly encouraged while the reproduction of a group with deleterious or not so favourable alleles is persecuted. In a biological perspective, eugenics is also detrimental to the survival of the human species. Charles Darwin, a great naturalist that discovered and theorized natural selection states that in a population, genetic variability is definitely a must for the survival of a certain population. Without variation, a single calamity or a plague could easily wipe out the entire population of that particular species, totally eliminating the species' gene pool. By practising eugenics, there would be less and less genetic variation in the human population. Consequently, humans will be much more susceptible to new diseases and catastrophes.

You might be wondering why that happens. It's pretty simple. Some alleles could be deleterious in a certain environment. However, in a totally novel or different environment, it could be essential for the survival of that particular species. A classic example would be, the sickle-cell anaemia. A very common disease, I'm sure you people would have heard about it. This disease is an inherited genetic disease where the red blood cells are sickle-shaped (not all but some). As a result, you would expect that the rate of oxygen transport will decrease due to these non functional red blood cells. It is therefore easy to rule out that this condition is detrimental to the health and bears no benefits to the person. Despite that, this allele could be proven useful predominantly in Africa. In Africa, Anopheles mosquito carries a certain parasite in their saliva called Plasmodium. Plasmodium uses the mosquito as a vector to infect humans, causing them the infamous 'Malaria'. Plasmodium is a protist parasite that attacks mainly on the red blood cells. They infect the red blood cells, reproduce inside the red blood cells and finally lyses out of the cell, infecting more and more red blood cells. As a result, it causes sudden shivers and chills to the affected person. The semi-detailed life-cycle of Plasmodium is summarised in the diagram below. Since red blood cells are essential for the reproduction of this parasite, an anomaly in the red blood cells would deter the growth and reproduction of Plasmodium. What do I think about eugenics? (I'm ranting!!)

In my very selfish opinion, eugenics is okay. So what if bad alleles were removed? So what if people with gene defects gets persecuted? I don't give a flying Lulz. In fact, that would be better. It halts production of abominable failures such as me! So what if having less variation will cause humans to be vulnerable to selective pressures? One die, all die la. Mati sama-sama. Why aren't designer babies allowed or widely used in Malaysia? Because of ethical issues? You critics think that it is wrong to disrupt nature by altering genes? You noobcakes think that doing so will anger God and stuff? Well, fuck you. God doesn't exist. If God does exist with his hands directly on Earth, Earth would be a much better place. There wouldn't be so much suffering. If you truly are fair and square and cubical, why isn't your love distributed evenly? Why is it distributed like a normal curve, where some people gets shit luck, some with average luck and some super lucky and fortunate. Why? Reason? To laugh at us unfortunate ones? Never mind. I'm just ranting. I'm pissed. I'm terribly depressed. Why do I have to live in misery. Why in the flying lulz do I have to suffer from so many shit. WHY?! I don't feel human at all! I know what you people are thinking. "This boy doesn't appreciate what he has. Look at Africa, people are dying everyday, having not enough food to eat. And yet, this boy is complaining about his life". You know what? I don't give a flying crap about who's dying or who's not having enough food to eat. I'm just RANTING HERE!! I HATE MYSELF! FML!! I WANNA JUST DIE OFF!!! I can't even find anyone to talk to about this, not that I'm willing to talk about it at all to anyone...

Conclusion

God doesn't exist. If he/she/it exist, he/she/it is an asshole. My life sucks, terribly. I wish I can decide my own genes, or at least get my genes altered before I was born, or even not get born at all.

Money makes the world go round. One good example is Taylor's University College. It's making tons of money. So why's money so important? Some critics might say stuff such as "money can't buy you happiness". My reply to that statement is, you people don't have a brain (I'm already being very very polite). It's true that money can't bring you ALL types of happiness in the world, but it can certainly bring you MOST of the happiness in the world. Without money, can you be healthy? Without these magical tree products, is it possible for you to get married? To support your kids? To financially support your loved ones? To buy and pamper yourself and your loved ones? No, it's impossible. Do bear in mind that I'm not implying you should have 10 million $USD in your bank to be considered as having money. Back to the topic, why the sudden inspiration to talk about money?

Firstly, money can buy you health. Yes, it's true. Although not in all cases, but in most cases. For example, I'm having health problems. It's been a year now. I can't seem to at all rest properly. I'm terribly ill and mentally screwed up, and this is seriously killing me, especially this month, the peak of despair. Of course I went to a general doctor. Unfortunately, after having my blood, my urine and my whatever analysed and tested out, everything was negative. My blood sugar level, sodium level, potassium level and whatever that's essential are all perfectly normal. Nothing's wrong. But I'm very very sure, SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY AND ATROCIOUSLY WRONG! I've thought of going to a specialist, but I don't have the money. SEE! Money is really important! Without money, you can't even see a more luxurious version of a doctor. So I've been trying hard by taking in natural remedies, and hopefully it'll help. IF it doesn't, then yeah I'll have to see them this time. Right now, I doubt I can even involve myself in any simple sexual activities any more. Not that I have them a lot. Sex life ruined. See? That's the effect of lack of money. (Please don't ask me what problems I have, there's a reason why I'm not stating it here. It's not STD or any sexually related diseases, just so you know).

Secondly, without money, I can't visit 'there' or come back to Malaysia during my winter holidays to meet up with that person. That's just sad, because of such financial problems I couldn't visit my friends and that person during the winter break. Sigh, another point to reinforce that lack of money can deprive you of happiness.

Thirdly, without money I can't even get the stuff I want. For example, my phone. He doesn't want it any more. Now I'm stuck with it. I was so happy when I thought I could finally get another one that I like. Usually, I'll just go, OK nevermind. But this time, with everything and every shit accumulating and summing up, I couldn't help it but cry. I'm breaking apart. I feel like the world is against me, especially this month. ARGH!! What the BFH is happening?!

So in conclusion, money is important. Very important. Not more important than health and love, but without an adequate amount of money (not saying you should be a millionaire) it's hard to be VERY happy. At least it applies to me. You might have a different view and I totally respect that. On a side note, I'm writing this based on MY opinions and MY experiences. If you have a different point of view and would like to have a debate with me, feel free to let me know, and I'll make myself free to punch your face.

September : Month of Total Despair

There's 4 things that's really bothering me this month.

For you people out there reading my blog, it's time to listen to my rants about my life again. =)

1 : As busy as hell.

It's been crazy this September. There's a huge BIOHORIZON project to do, and my group and I are suppose

to write an essay on neurodegeneration diseases, including power point slides and having an econference on the forums! The deadline is so near, and I'm having troubles writing it. We'll finish it up on time either way, it's just that the process of doing it is really stressful and exasperating.

Asides from that, we have this IS-IT Chemistry Research Task. It's almost like BIOHORIZON, just that it is on chemistry. And the deadline is the same as BIOHORIZON! I've barely started on it because everyone's so busy holidaying or doing their BIOHORIZON. Well, same goes to me.. I tend to ignore this first for BIO >.<"

Thirdly, there's a Physics mid semester exam right after holidays. Talking about WTF?! Another thing happening?! I didn't study at all ever since the beginning of the semester, there's no way I can fit Physics into my head with all the other tasks on hand! I'm as good as GG-fied!

To continue, Quiz 2 for Chemistry is OUT! Deadline's somewhere around 7th of October. Yeah, that may seem like a longggggg time for us to do, but again, with all the other assignments, I doubt it'll be easy. (Covers fully on 3 modules. Wait, we're not even done with module 2. Oh great!)

2 : Preparation to UQ

So yeap. Preparations! There's so many things I have to do, my father's been pushing me into doing them such as applying a visa, getting to know what kind of clothings I can bring, money, accommodation, passport, friends and stuff. Oh, and my air ticket is already pre-booked by Taylor's! Wow, efficient betul. We'll be going in a group, so yay! And to brag, for biotech students our first semester is completely, absolutely, sexually free!! It's only the living expenses that I should be worried about... But again, wo0t! (Biomed students get to go through 2 semesters for free though, jealous much)

3 : I still miss a certain someone

I know I know. It's silly. I'm suppose to let go and concentrate on my stuff. But I just can't help it. Like you said, it's my trait. I'm trying my best not to think of it though. But I really do miss you. So much =/ I really wish I can meet you at least once in a year during our holidays.. (Which is pretty much not likely since our summer breaks are totally antagonistic). Wishful thinking. Still. I'm not going to say much here, I believe I've expressed myself a lot in many other ways possible ha ha. Anyways... I wish you're happy there. You'll make friends, dummy. And maybe hopefully find someone you love... =)

4 : Stupidest Decision

I bought a new phone. Yay new touch screen phone, that's what I thought. But no, I'm just not used to it at all. The more I use it, the more sad I get and the more pissed I get. I mean, it's a 100% entertainment phone. Features include

a : Imba camera

b : Imba music

c : 8GB memory card

d : and etc

e : I bought it LESS THAN A WEEK!!

Ever since I bought it, I've never used the camera much, did not listen to music much and did not do much at all with the phone asides from texting and calling (Which is ALSO RARE). Thus, it's making me sad. Weird right? So I talked to my classmate HM. He seems to like the phone, he seems to like the camera and the music functions. So yay, I'm selling it to him, RM200 less than the original price. And SINCE he kept on screwing his earphones, I decided to add in an additional ear phone which costs RM80. All in all, I lost RM280! But it's okay, it's a lesson for me to not be such a retard to anyhow buy a phone with features I don't use much.

The hardest part was of course, to TELL my mum. It took me so much courage to go to her and start a conversation. I first went,

Me : Hey mum, ermm...

Mum : What? You hungry?

Me : Oh yeah! Of course.

Mum : Alright I'll make dinner. (Walks down to the kitchen)

Me : (Follows her down) Uhmm, mum, actually... the phone...

Mum : What about it?

Me : I think I don't like it... the more I use it.. the more I get sad.. I just can't get used to it...

Mum : (Shocked face as if I killed a cat) OMG, you're just plain weird, how come?!

Me : Well... I don't use the features much you see... and I'm not used to it. It's like wasting the phone.. I should get something with features that I can use.

Mum : What to do with your phone?

Me : I sold it to a classmate for RM200 less than the original price... (Put my hand in my pocket and took out RM200). Here, take it. It's my fault, thus it's my responsibility.

Mum : Nah it's okay. Just keep it. Just make sure your next phone is something you REALLLLLLYYYYYYY like! You should test it out first before you buy.

Me : Okay... but please do take the RM200. At least I won't feel so guilty.

Mum : Ok ok.

Whew. This time I REALLLLLLYYY should make sure I like that phone before I purchase it!

I am seriously at the brink of collapsing now.

There's so many things I want to do well in, but I just can't seem to.

Nowadays, I'm just so exhausted by everything around me,

From the inside out, outside in, sideways and wayside I'm feeling tired.

Firstly, it's about my uni stuff.

Had you studied like crazy and stayed up all night just to finish a quiz and got fucked by it and the next day the whole class copies your hard word and gets full marks in front of your face?

Well, it happened to me. It's a terrible sight to see, and I felt like dying. But oh well, at a brighter side, the class benefits from it.

On a side note, I almost died from chemistry practical today. T_T

There's something I really want to tell you on your face,

I'm not allowed to. Nobody lets me. Furthermore, I do not have the right,

or the privilege to do so.

To be frank, I don't really understand any of you. And now it's your turn. You can be nice sometimes,

What gives? Which one are you predominant in? My heart is fragile, I can't

withstand such changes in such a short time. I feel weak and devastated every time

you give me such responses and answers. I really wanted to tell you, but I just can't

seem to forge the right words out of my trap hole. I'm terribly lost and confined in a state of confusion. What do you want from me? What can I do for you?

In fact, I'm still quite disturbed by the events that occurred these days. Whatever you said, whatever you denied, whatever you tried to confess or whatever you tried to hide, I really couldn't understand any more to the point that I want to bang my head on the wall. I want to understand, and I want to know why, but overtly that's out of my grasp. You wouldn't. Not that I tried to inquire it from you directly, but knowing you, you'll just come up with something. Besides, that'll add to awkwardness, wouldn't it? That made me wondered, whatever that happened that night, that very night. Were they my dreams, my imaginations and my fantasies? They seemed real to be, but the after reality of it doesn't seem to support the fact that it really happened. Maybe, it's just the CH3CH2OH. You know, this shit always fucks people up. Although I always tried not to give a flying fuck any more, I just can't because I care for you =/

Well, enough about that. I'm sure what goes next is, hey you're emo-ing again. Can't you get rid of that trait? Well, everyone emos from time to time right? It's just a matter of how well you hide it (I think I plagiarised this phrase from someone). So yeah, I heeded that advice and did. I suppressed it to a fair degree. It wasn't easy, but that's better than making everyone around you gloomy, correct? That being said, this is my world and my space. It's one of the places where I can express what I want to express (although my emotions, described in words here are much suppressed to an extent). So don't go around calling me emo unless I exhibit emoism in your presence. =)

In principle, what I would like to conclude from all these mess of words is I really really want to tell you this!

Know where you stand

Whenever you're finding for a relationship, firstly please, know where you stand.

There are a few 'pantang-larang' and tips that might work that I made up by myself through experience.

This is just merely and purely for fun though, don't take it too seriously. :D

1. If the person you're aiming for is a high profile person, be very careful. They could be only messing with you. How do you know if they are high profile? Check their facebook. It's usually easy to detect. (Friends > 1k, every single status updates has many many comments and stuffs, having other high profile people in their friends list, common friends with lots of random and unusual people that even you yourself don't really know, and lastly your friends from other schools know them)

2. Know their friends. Usually you can know the type of person they are by getting to know their friends. If their friends are all retarded and plays around/sleeps around, you can start to take pre-cautions. It might be stereotypical but, sluts and the same kinds tend to flock together.

3. Does that person always text message someone else while hanging out/dating with you? Do you ALWAYS have to take the initiative to start the conversation? Do you ALWAYS receive 1 word text messages? If these happens, it's not a good sign. Be ready for anything.

4. Know yourself. Are you the of same kind? If you are, by all means, go ahead and play around, sleep around, fuck around and fuck yourself to hell.

5. Again, know yourself. Are you against all this crap? If you are, you can either muster your courage, tell that person and make that person stop all these for your sake or make him change through your dedicated love. This is, however, a risk. It usually wouldn't turn out to be good. I mean, which cat doesn't eat fish?

6. Be friends with his friends. You can extract lots of information from them. Who were that persons ex, how many times did that person had sex, this and that. This step is essential, unless you have fucking crazy faith in that person, which makes you a retard (like me).

7. If you find that person lying, don't burst his bubble yet. Try to make that person tell you. If that person refuses and die die also deny, fuck that person off.

8. If you found out that the person's going against all his words (I won't have sex with random people, I have self-dignity, I am single and only love you), forget that person. He's not worth your time.

9. If you're really cheated, go home, cry for 3 days and move on. These kind of people, are totally not worth your tears (Gui 2010)

In conclusion, try not to get your hopes too high up especially when you're dealing with high profile/elite/well-known people. They have so many other choices and targets, why the hell would they be loyal to you? Don't be silly. Find someone that's simple and has a great personality. Screw those well-known complicated emo sanafa cunts =D

And yeah I know it's easier to say than to actually do it yourself. I'm actually struggling myself when I'm typing this. I wonder if I can really do this. But no matter what, life goes on. "There are still many other fishes in this world" (Chin 2010)

New Semester New Style

Congrats to all. It's finally the start of the new semester. It's a new semester with new style!

Previously I did okay with grades of 7-7-6-5. I was really surprised when I find myself getting a 5 for Scie1000, which I studied just 2 days before the exam. All glory to the people that helped

me :D

And secondly, what did I do during the holidays? Online games, reading manga, drinking, day-dreaming, drinking, clubbing and drinking. Like the previous holidays, it's just full of drama and

emotions. Made me really sad at some point and I'm quite tired of it so I'm just so glad that the new semester started! Weeee. Forget all forget all! It's not the time yet!

Now, is it time for me to introduce this semester's subjects? Before that, have I mentioned that this semester's timetable is really, nooby? 6hours of lab on Monday, urgh... Furthermore, it feels like high school/pre-U. There's Bio, Chem, Physics and maths. =/

I'll start with, Biological Physics.

Argh. What can I say about this? It's Physics. No matter how you add Bio or change the name into some Biophysics kinda thing, it's still physics. And physics deals with vectors, graphs, calculations and many other funny equations. I'd say I already dislike this after opening to the first chapter of this book. Moreover, this book actually costs RM 269. WTF, seriously? Like hell I'd spent so much for a book that'll be on the table collecting dust. (Well, I made a copy of it though, shhh :D)

Secondly would be Chemistry : Energetics and Reactivity.

No matter how you look at it, it looks more like physics than chemistry. There's so many calculations and formulae. I'm going crazy just looking at the lecture notes. >.<" But no matter what, I'll still do my best. Chemistry is one of my strong subjects :D

Next would be, Statistics. This, is the textbook for statistics.

I bet you're making the WTF face right now. Like, LOL? This comical novel looking girly book is actually a statistics textbook? Michael Bulmer sure is ermm, bored. Haha. Ms Cheah did mentioned that last year 50% of the class got a grade 7 for this course, so I should be able to get it too.

Lastly, it's BIOL1040. Cells to organisms. Someone said, this course will have the weirdest, strangest, and funniest assignments. You wouldn't be able to find it any where else. So, meh. Hopefully I'll do as well as BIOL1020 last semester.

I'm still drunk and feeling quite dizzy now when I'm writing this. But it's when I'm drunk that I'm able to express what I want to say. It's been awhile, since I last updated my blog. It's 5.20 am now.

I went to 2 pubs today, V and B. Went with a bunch of friends that I first met just today. Drank a lot. Thankfully, everything appears to be free. I was expecting, to be hit, and to hit. But nope, non of those happened. All I did was, sat there and witness my friends being hit. Ironically, the friend that claims to be there just for the environment, got hit by everyone. Such irony. But it couldn't be helped, he's awesome, I'm not. All I did was, nothing. I was merely, a decoration. Maybe, decorations are even more noticeable than me. It's not that I'm not grateful and appreciative to you guys. I did have fun. It was an experience that I never had before. But that feeling of being an extra, I did feel it before, many times. It's just so repetitive and there's this feeling of deja vu. Well, you people have been calling me anti-social and kept asking me to go out and socialize. So now I did, but apparently I'm just not good in it. What can I say? I blame God and genetics, and myself.

It's my pleasure, to be able to meet you people. You people are awesome. It's just me, that's not awesome. Thanks for putting it up with me.

Brothers? What are they really defined as actually besides a blood relation with your mum's son?

A very close friend?

Having brothers outside of your family might sound nice, you get someone to call bro and your relationship with him might even be closer than your own blood related brother. But, they can really be scary sometimes don't you think? My experience..

During the 4 months SAM holidays, I have this so called 2 brothers. Why's that so? Because they were really close to me. We talk about everything, share our secrets as well as stay up late just to chat. Let's call them A and B. One day A decided to do something really really bad to me. He back-stabbed me and he's really proud of doing so. B was really mad at him too, he supported me all the way, giving me encouragement. He's my only brother left. However, I didn't really want to fight with A everyday anyway, since now he's my good friend's boyfriend. I just pretend that he is on permanent wind-walk. But not until recently, and I don't know when, they became really close again. And this B, is trying to 'make things back to last time'. What does that mean? You want us to be really close again, and let history repeat itself? Honestly, I've tried to forget what that has happened 2 months back. I tried not to think about it, until this really stupid B appeared and uttered this bull shit in front of me. It made me remember everything all over again. This is what you call brothers? One that betrays you, and another that supports you and betrays you in the end? What kind of people have I met during the 4months SAM break? Why are they doing this to me? If only I didn't bother facebooking this 'particular someone' out of curiosity, all these wouldn't have happened, and I wouldn't have met so many unnecessary people that now haunts my life. Yeap, curiosity kills the cat.

So if you people are reading this, I just want to tell you that I don't care any more about what happened during my SAM break. Just leave me alone, I don't want to be friends, so don't even talk about brothers.

最近真的超不爽。很想打人。很容易发脾气。。。

为什么呢？因为，

2：我没有钱

3：我喜欢的人说根本一点儿都不喜欢我

4：发到一个很恐怖的梦

5：自己太瘦了！！要加肥

Seems like all the subjects are NOT as what I expected lol. First is the SCIE1000 [Theory and practices in science]. It's some holy crap omg bbq subject. It's divided into 4 components, mainly :

A: Mathematics

B: Science

C: Programming

D: Philosophy

A: Mathematic IS OKAY I guess. Seems like according to my lecturers explanation, I would require at least high school knowledge of linear algebra and basic calculus such as integration to survive in this course. Sigh, when I finally thought no more mathematics in university any more, it popped out to continue haunting me and traumatizing me. Oh well, I'll practise hard for the sake of MYSELF.

B: Science should be okay. Maybe some basic rules and theories when performing science experiments in general.

C: Programming I really don't know if this is going to be fun. I mean, it sounds exciting, orgasmic, and has a very sci-fi super high tech feel to it, but I guess that's just it. We are not learning to program hax programs or soft-wares that will enable us to bot or hack in an online game. We are probably learning on how to write programs to calculate an immense amount of data obtained from experiments. Well, I expected this, since my course is called bioTECHNOLOGY.

D: Philosophy?!!! Yeah you heard that right. Philosophy. If I remembered correctly, there's philosophy of Plato, philosophy of aristotle and someone. From the word philosophy, you might think it's another super uber cool subject with sophisticated contents. Well, it IS sophisticated I guess, but I'm not really into learning so much ideas. We'll see though. Hopefully I'll get to develop my interest in philosophisticated. 7!!

Next would be BIOL1020. The title would be Genes, cells and evolutions. Genes and cells itself, are huge words. We could take a lifetime just to study on cells, or genes. However, these are super interesting subjects. Really cool and nifty. This will be the best subject ever! But... NO!!!!! We have to learn all the way down to the organisms level, which is kinda... not my kind of thing. But oh well, I'm sure I'll enjoy the most out of this course though :D 7!!

To continue, BIOL1030 is next in line! The title would be, biodiversity and the environment. First thing that comes to your mind would be....? "BORING" No, really. This course is kinda atrocious. We have to visit UM's botanical garden, visit weird weird gardens, edit videos, MAKE a documentary style video, visit the desert in Australia as well as writing 2 reports. Wait... did I mention there's 2 practicals on dung beetles? BEETLES? I... I'm scared of beetles... Not sure if I'll faint in the lab.. but whoever is my lab partner is screwed for that practical. But anyway, I'll do my best in this subject. Aim for 7!!

Whoa! It's CHEMISTRY! I love chemistry, to a certain extent. The lecturer looks cool and awesome and she's doing her PhD. I heard it's really hard when it boils down to organic chemistry, but I should be able to manage it. Just need to work hard. Remember, be determined! 7!!

Lastly, EPC?? Elite Pioneer Cannon? Engineering Polytechnic College? Elephants and Prokaryotics Course? NO! It's English Proficiency Course! I've got an A in the Australian English Exam, must I really take this course? Sigh, without this stupid thing , we would be able to go home at 11am on Mondays and 1pm on Fridays.

2: 我没有钱

I seem to have used all my money! No money for lunch, no money for outings, no money for buying Gpoints and no money to make myself secure. You have absolutely no idea what I would do to get the money man... Sell my backside perhaps? Haha... Nowadays I kinda overspent on dinners and outings. In addition, the foods in the cafeteria in my university are horrendously expensive. Everything's just so expensive! Sooner or later I would need to bring my own food there. On the other hand, I REALLY need Gpoints now in Granado Espada. I'm full of debt to people, and I need a good amount of cash, Gpoints, and armors to feel secure. I'm feeling REALLY insecure now, no matter who hugs me now. Man, money sure are important aren't they?

You need them to eat, to drink, to sleep, to entertain yourself, to pursue your dreams, to study in a well-known university and of course to shit and pee as well. You think the toilets are free 1 ah? Sigh, one big reason why I'm emotional.

3: 我喜欢的人说根本一点儿都不喜欢我

说了不想想，不想理，不想管，不过还是很伤心。以前的爱人，跟我朋友说，“是真的我们已经在一起，不过问题是我不多爱他”。如果不爱我的话，为什么要跟我一起。玩我是不是那么爽？！！

足足玩了我三个月。他妈的。不喜欢就说咯。不要这样玩我可以吗？！很伤的。你，我已经忘记了，放下了。现在，我喜欢的人，每次都跟我说，不知道，不清楚。问了很多次，还是不想退绝我。给我假的希望。最后，我朋友问你，对我有感觉嘛。。你说，一点儿都没有！完全没有！！其实是什么意思？不要我就说吧！！不要拖拖默默。你心里每一寸都是属于另一个人。不是我。很想放下，很想忘记。。不过又跟你见面。。天。。不要跟我开玩笑吧。。不好笑。。

5：自己太瘦了！！要加肥

Yeah seriously. I need to put on some weight. Too thin and skinny. It's not really good for health.

For starters, I shall eat lots of food! Yeap, I take in about 4-5 meals a day everyday now. Not sure if it's working though, since my metabolism rate is orgasmically high... but I'll make sure my determination to eat will not be scrapped off because of money. Secondly, I would need to exercise more! Went to the gym yesterday with V A and D. D's an expert in the gym, knowing how to operate all the equipments as well as tips on what equipment is suitable for me. I manage to stretch, run on the running machine, exercise my legs and my chest and my arms as well as my abdomen. After that, I went to the steam room and sauna to ermm.. steam myself? :D Was fun and enjoyable, after all the entrance to the gym is completely free besides being able to build some tiny wee bit of muscles. Exercising in the gym is not that bad after all. On the other hand though, the gym in my university is not completely open yet. Sucks, what about my 4 hours of break on Monday? I'll be pretty bored if I don't get to do something like mastur... I mean exercising. Sigh, hurry up and open the damn thing please.
